Joyce M. Lage (Bonsall)

Joyce M. Lage (Bonsall), 73, of Altoona, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on October 10, 2024 at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center; Altoona. She was born on February 7, 1951 in Denver, Colorado; daughter of the late Herman J. and Virginia Mae (Hanna) Lage.

Joyce was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School and the Chambersburg Nursing School. She spent her nursing career working at numerous hospitals and nursing facilities. Joyce was crafty and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She beautifully played the piano and organ.

Joyce was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L. Lage; and sister, Janice Walton. Surviving is sister, Donna Miller (Thom) of Woodbury; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.

At request of the deceased, Graveside Services will be held privately.  Inurnment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery.
