Judith A. Risbon, 76, a resident of Embassy of Huntingdon Park, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Saturday evening, March 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.

She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Thomas A. and Lillian L. (Stiffler) Risbon.

Surviving are two daughters: Denise A. Allison (Roy) and Julia D. Hurtado (Jose) both of Williamsburg; two sons: Timothy C. Mullins (Tracy) of Orlando, FL and Travis Mullins (Leidi) of Harrisburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Larry Risbon and Joseph Risbon both of Williamsburg; and her best friend, Peggy Putt.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Patrick, John and Thomas Risbon; and a sister, Mary Henderson.

Judy was a 1966 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also received her graduate practical nursing diploma from the Altoona Vocational School.

She worked as an LPN for many years including: The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg; Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg and retired from Valley View Nursing Home, Altoona, with 20 years of service.

Judy was a longtime, faithful member of Cove Forge United Methodist Church, Williamsburg, where she taught youth Sunday school and helped in various capacities.  She was also a member of the Williamsburg Vol. Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved her family, serving the Lord through her church, taking care of the elderly and her many pet dogs.  Judy also enjoyed quilting and has made over 200 beautiful quilts for the homeless.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Ms. Bobbi Jo and Ms. Whitney from Embassy of Huntingdon Park, they always treated Judy like their own mother.

Friends will be received from 4:30 until 6pm, Thursday, March 6, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 6pm.  Private interment will be held at Yellow Springs Lutheran Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Contributions in memory of Judy may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
