Judith K. Showman

Judith K. Showman, 82, of Saxton, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at her home. She was born on April 16, 1943 in Greensburg; daughter of the late Earl Luther and Hazel Irene (Gess) Keibler. On March 20, 1998 in Oakland, Maryland, she was united in marriage to Larry J. Showman, who survives.

Judith retired from West Penn Power, working in the Accounting Department. She enjoyed time spent with her family, crocheting, reading, and playing the piano. Judith loved mini-vacations, with her favorites being Gettysburg and Coopers Rock State Forest.

Judith was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Bender. Surviving is her husband, Larry J. Showman; children: Cynthia Wolf (Matthew), Vicki Hewitt, and Timothy Bender; step-children: Larry Showman, Jr. (Melissa), Stacey Showman, and Christopher Showman; grandchildren: Michael Porter (Hannah), Samantha Patterson, Lyndsie Altman (Derrick), Emily Porter, William Hewitt (Sofiya), Nicholas Hewitt, Thomas Hewitt (Jessica), Douglas Bender, Kelsie Bender, and Kaylie Bender; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Keibler (Melinda, dec.); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

At request of the deceased, funeral services will be held privately. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Hillman Cancer Center – Altoona and Gentiva Hospice.
