Justin Lee "Jc" Cunningham

Justin Lee “JC” Cunningham, 37, of Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away on July 26, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1988 in Altoona; son of Gerald Scott Cunningham and Beverly Swope.

JC was a graduate of Northern Bedford County Highschool Class of 2006. He had a passion for country living, music, and making people laugh.

JC was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Scott Cunningham; paternal grandma, Dora Cunningham; maternal grandparents, Earl and Peggy Swope; and several close cousins. Surviving is his mother, Beverly Swope; sister, Rebecca Ott (Chase); nephew, Zeppelin Ott; and niece, Scarlett Ott.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Waterside Church of the Brethren beginning at 11:00AM; Pastor Eric Poteat officiating.

If so desired, Memorial Contributions in JC’s name may be made to Stone Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
