Justina Cornelius Hall of Hopewell passed away at 6:35 a.m. on September 19, 2015 of natural causes one day shy of her 96th birthday. She was married for 42 years to the late Roger E. Hall, and devoted their life to the family farm and raising their family. She is survived by four daughters, Carroll, (Kenneth) Kreider of Elizabettown, PA; Janice (Donald) Hosler of Paoli, Pa; Eleanor (Loren) Nedrow of Billings, Montana; Darlene (Don) Ormsby of Roaring Spring, PA; and one son, Wayne Hall of Hopewell, PA.
She was the loving Grandmother of her four granddaughters; Brenda Kreider Barlet (Elizabethtown, PA), Dr. Denise Kreider Voloshin (Greensburg), Kristen Hosler Smith (Malvern,PA), Amber Ormsby Keith (Roaring Spring, PA)along with her four grandsons; Duane Hosler (Hatfield, PA), David Nedrow (Billings, MT), Michael Nedrow (Lancaster, PA), and Wayne Roy Hall II. (Hopewell, PA) She is survived by 16 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
She has one surviving sister: Shirley M. Cornelius Smith of Roaring Spring, PA.
Justina was a lifetime member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren where she served as a deaconess as well as the many activities of the Women’s fellowship. She was a leader of the Yellow Creek 4-H Club, and oversaw her blue ribbon club and the many blue-ribbon winning booths at the Northern Bedford County Fair where she submitted many personal blue ribbon entries.
In recent years, she was a member of the Loysburg Lioness, and had served as President. She was a member of the Bedford County Squares, and enjoyed their many activities along with competitions at the Pennsylvania Farm Show.
She loved traveling with her family. She volunteered at the Morrison Cove Home, and the Hopewell Senior Center.
She was creative in many art forms of needlework, ceramics, Teaching herself to crochet, and knit whereas she created many beautiful project for her family. She was an experienced seamstress, making many dresses for her daughters as well as bridesmaid’s dresses for their weddings.
