Karen Loretta Swaney, 60, Williamsburg, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona, following a brief illness.

She was born daughter of the late, Leroy Sr. and Eleanor J. (Swaney) Fisher.

Surviving are a son, Trevor I. Swaney of Williamsburg; a sister, Michelle L. McGregor (Tim) of Williamsburg; 3 brothers: Leroy Fisher Jr. of Williamsburg, Scott R. Fisher (Angie) of Altoona; and Richard F. Fisher of Huntingdon.

She was a 1973 Graduate of Williamsburg High School and a member of Living Water Family Worship Center, rural Williamsburg.

Karen was employed as a stitcher for many years at the former Cove Shoe Factory, now H.H. Brown Shoe Company, Inc., Martinsburg.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, her church family and helping with various church ministries.

Friends will be received from 5 until the 7pm funeral service, Monday, February 22, 2016 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Church Director Glenn F. Kagarise II officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to help Karen’s family with expenses.
