Kathryn L. “Kay” Delozier

Kathryn L. “Kay” Delozier, 86, a resident of Epworth Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Wednesday morning, January 30, 2019 at the center.

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Marion G. and Almeda (Kensinger) Young. On November 24, 1950, she married William E. Delozier in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 68 years; a daughter, Marcia D. (John) Cowher of Tyrone; two grandchildren: Chad A. Cowher (Maurisa Salmond) of Columbia, SC and Shane M. (Kelly) Cowher of Tyrone; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Patricia A. (Duane) Benton in California, and Linda E. (Dan) Brown of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dorsey D. Young and a sister, Dixie L. McIntosh.

Kay was a 1950 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a former member of Geeseytown Lutheran Church, and was a current member of the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren and Williamsburg Women’s Civic Club.

She loved spending time with her family, vacationing with friends, and also enjoyed playing cards, and shopping.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, February 3, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, and from 10 until the 11 am funeral service, Monday, February 4, 2019, at the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren, Brother Thomas Hanks and Pastor Allen Baker Jr. officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
