Kathy Ann Bennett, 63, of Altoona, formerly of Martinsburg, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her residence, following a second courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Charles Lloyd Sr. and Phyllis Jean (Hampton) Musselman.  On August 24, 1985 she married Frederick B. Bennett Jr. in Duncansville.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 37 years; her parents of Martinsburg; a son, Ian L. (Erin) Bennett of Altoona; a granddaughter, Brody Y. Bennett; a brother, Charles L. Musselman Jr. (June) of Roaring Spring and a sister, Joanne Hartman (Rick) of Martinsburg.

Kathy was a 1975 graduate of Central High School.  After graduating she began working at the Martinsburg Shoe Factory and then for 8 years at News Printing Company in Hollidaysburg.  She also spent 21 years at North American Communications, Duncansville and until her health declined, worked 12 years at the Sheetz Bakery in Claysburg.

She attended Faith Baptist Church, Altoona, for many years and for the last 3 years, Kathy and Rick attended the Bible Baptist Church, Tyrone.

Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter, Brody.  She also enjoyed traveling, biking on rails to trails, hiking and site seeing    (visiting waterfalls was her favorite).

Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm, Friday, May 21, 2021 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral service will follow at 1pm, Pastor Ken Patterson officiating.  Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Kathy may be given to help defray funeral expenses.
