Kathy Elaine Knob, 62, Altoona, passed away Sunday afternoon at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
She was born in Harrisburg, daughter of the late George W. and Jacqueline M. (Auker) Strayer.
Surviving are 2 brothers: George T. Strayer (wife, Diane) of Williamsburg and Thomas P. Strayer (wife, Teri) of Tipton; a sister, Cynthia Fitzgerald of Harrisburg; 2 brothers-in-law: Mathias Miller Jr. and David Bush; 3 Nieces: Angela Weber, Susan Winters, and Jacqueline England; 3 nephews: George T. Strayer Jr., Matthew Strayer and Benjamin Miller; 3 great-nieces: Grace Strayer, Abby England and Reagan England; and 9 great-nephews: Elijah Strayer, Daniel Strayer, Brendan Weber, Richard P. Weber, Russell Winters, Chris Huey, Rhiley Alexander, Zach England, and Blake Miller.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Darlene May Miller and Patricia Bush.
Kathy was a 1972 graduate of Susquenita High School, Duncannon and enjoyed crocheting and reading her bible.
At the request of the deceased there will be no public services. Private inurnment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
