Keith R. Little, 58, of Roaring Spring, passed away surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday morning, May 2, 2023, at UPMC Altoona, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Goldsboro, NC, son of the late James W. and Phyllis G. (Shadduck) Little.  On June 11, 1993, he married Melissa D. Vavrek in Coraopolis.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Melissa of 29 years; two daughters, Miranda and Sarah, both at home; two brothers: Eric Little (Phyllis) of Shippensburg, and Kevin Little (Margaret) of Saladasburg; and nine nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Keith Jr.

Keith was a 1983 graduate of Montoursville High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Lycoming College and his Master's of Science Degree in Physics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  Keith was a science teacher at Northern Bedford High School for 30 years, where he also assisted with several of their musical productions.

He loved music, collecting guitars, and was involved with several bands. Keith also enjoyed traveling with his family and working on old radios.

Friends will be received from 2 until 5 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2023, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.  Private inurnment will be held at Muncy Cemetery, Lycoming County.

Memorial contributions in memory of Keith may be given to the Cove Cause for Cancer, 343 Ponderosa Ln., Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
