Kenneth C. Bush

Kenneth C. Bush, 69, rural Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, in rural Martinsburg from injuries sustained in a farming accident.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Walter W. and Margaret C. (Greaser) Bush.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Debra Demko; an aunt, Lorella Greaser of Williamsburg; and numerous cousins.
Kenneth was a 1964 graduate of Williamsburg High School and also attended the University of Wisconsin.
He was a United States Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War from 1967-1972, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Kenneth retired in 1994 from Penelec, where he was employed at the Keystone and Williamsburg Generating Stations for 20 years. He also owned and operated Bush Valley Farms, rural Williamsburg for 20 years and was currently working for Rich-Lou Farms, rural Martinsburg.
He was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmer’s Bureau, the Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post 456, Williamsburg, and a lifetime member of the NRA.
Kenneth enjoyed fishing and hunting, but his true love was farming.
Friends will be received from 3-5pm, Sunday, October 25, 2015 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Monday, October 26, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Shriners Children’s Hospital.
