Kenneth L. Clabaugh, 88, of rural Williamsburg, passed away Monday evening, July 17, 2023 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.

He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Paul R. and Bertha B. (Hetrick) Clabaugh.  Ken was twice married, first to Barbara Jo Ann Guerin, who died February 10, 2001 and then to G. Kay Showalter, who passed away on November 28, 2019.

Surviving are two brothers: Nelson R. Clabaugh (Jane) of Hollidaysburg and Willard E. Clabaugh (Judy) of Indiana; a sister, Mabel K. Johnson of Hollidaysburg and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty L. Bookwalter; and two brothers-in-law: Junior Bookwalter and James Johnson.

Ken attended Williamsburg High School and later completed his G.E.D.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1953 until 1959. Ken worked for many years as a mason, for many local companies.

He loved sitting and talking at the O.I.P or Martin General Store in Williamsburg with family and friends. Ken also enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to auctions and his pet dog, Sam.

At Ken’s request there will be no public services.  Private burial will be held at Oreminea Cemetery.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
