Kenneth R. Hostetter

Kenneth R. Hostetter, 91, of Martinsburg, passed away late Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Homewood at Martinsburg.

He was born in Buffalo, NY, son of the late John Neff and Nellie Mae (Orren) Hostetter.  On July 16, 1955 he married Eunice Joanne Feather and she preceded him in death on November 23, 2015, after 60 years of marriage.

Surviving are two children: Debra Mobley of Leesburg, VA and Steven Hostetter (Rhonda) of Dickson, TN; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two siblings: Winifred Worman of Grantham and J. Norman Hostetter of Martinsburg.

Kenneth was a 1950 graduate of Parker High School, Clarence Center, NY, where he was a four-sport letterman.  He worked for many years as the general manager of Feather Petroleum in Martinsburg.

He was a longtime, faithful member of Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church and for many years attended Deltona Alliance Church, while living in Florida.  Kenneth was also a member of the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire Company for over 25 years.

Kenneth loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed golfing and playing church softball.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
