Kenneth C. Kensinger, 73, rural Martinsburg, passed away Thursday morning, September 26, 2019, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Kittanning, son of the late Jacob Albert and Inez Isabelle (Bowser) Kensinger.   On October 27, 1983, he married Brenda L. Fasick in Altoona.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 36 years; two sons: Adam G. (Amber) Kensinger of Tellico Plains, TN, and Lee R. (April) Kensinger of Martinsburg; a daughter, Stacey L. Kensinger (Jesse Miller) of St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren: Autumn Sky, Ava Grace, Ally Marie, Alice Dawn, Alijah James, and Tristan Anthony; a brother, Edward Kensinger of Donnerstown; and a sister, Joyce A. (Harry) Romberger of Harrisburg.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary L.; and a sister, Donna Jean Smith.

Ken was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and following graduation served in the US Army from 1965-1967, attaining the rank of Specialist 4th Class.  In 2002, he retired as a welder from Conrail, working at both the Hollidaysburg and Samuel Rae Shops, with over 30 years of service, and had previously worked at Beasley Motor Rebuilders, Altoona.

He was a member of the Southern Cove Power Reunion and Woodland Owners of the Southern Allegheny, Bedford County. Ken loved spending time with his family, wildlife conservation, and restoring John Deere tractors.  He also enjoyed hunting and buying local memorabilia at auctions.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
