Kevin Lynn Deeters, 57, of Altoona, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, October 20, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, following an extended illness.

He was born in Groton, MA, son of the late Ralph M. and Sarah J. (Dopp) Deeters.  On July 18, 1986 he married Roxanne S. Rettzo in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 34 years; a daughter, Samantha J. Burket (Jason) of Martinsburg; a son, Jonathan M. Deeters (fiancé, Tanya Weidel) of Altoona; two granddaughters: Lilly T. and Layla A. Burket; four siblings: Russell M. Deeters (Kandy), Carey E. Deeters and Suzanne J. Sisson (Jason) all of Williamsburg and Ryan T. Deeters (Renee) of Fort Hood, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church.

He worked as a truck driver for many years and also was employed at Service Master, Duncansville and as a security guard.

Kevin was a U.S. Navy veteran who loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, hunting and also enjoyed listening to 80’s metal music.

At the request of deceased there will be no services.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions for Kevin can be sent to the funeral home to help with expenses.
