Kevin Barnett Mayhew

December 29, 1955 ~ June 9, 2024

Kevin Barnett Mayhew, 68, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9, 2024, at UPMC Altoona, following a brief illness.

He was born in Clearfield, son of the late Jack M. and Tessa J. (Barnett) Mayhew. On July 21, 1979, he married Carol Sue Ake at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Carol, of 44 years; a daughter, Britt D. Mayhew (Brett Anders) of Alexandria; a son, Brandon T. Mayhew, of Williamsburg; two sisters: Penny Longo of Duncansville and Holly Eger of Johnstown; two brothers: Rick Mayhew and JT Mayhew, both of Williamsburg; a brother-in-law, Joel Ake (Shannan) of Williamsburg; two nieces: Kyley McGarvey and Tristian MacIntosh; three nephews: Brodie Mayhew, Ian Ake, and Neil Ake; and numerous extended family members and friends.

Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was employed as a welder at Altoona Pipe and Steel for 18 years. Kevin then worked as a machine operator and in the tool and die department at FCI Mount Union for 16 years and for the past 6 years has worked as a machine operator and packer at Cenveo, Williamsburg.

He loved spending time and sharing friendly conversations with his family and friends. Kevin also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, art, and listening to music.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date and arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg.
