L. Joann Reed

L. Joann Reed, passed away peacefully, early Tuesday morning, September 29, 2015 at Hillview Chateau, Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Howard and Blanche (Lininger) Zimmerman.   Joann was married to the late Logan J. Reed.

Surviving are a daughter, Teresa Hersey (Bruce) of Hollidaysburg; 2 grandsons: Alex of Ashville, NC and Derek of New York, NY; and 2 brothers: Harold of Port St. Lucy, FL and Wayne of Wilmington, DE.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Howard; and a sister, Joyce Donovan.

At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing however a public memorial service will be announced at a later date.   Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
