Larry A. Treese, 73, Clappertown, rural Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 8, 2019 during a rehabilitation stay at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.

He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late C. Albert and Elsie (Novak) Treese.  On June 4, 1966 he married Barbara D. Gorsuch in Newry and she preceded him in death on October 18, 2013.

Surviving are a daughter, Amy J. Treese of rural Martinsburg; a son, Jeffrey A. at home; a grandson, Tyler Treese; and two sisters: Barbara A. (Chuck) McGeary of Martinsburg and Nancy E. (Chris) Neubauer of Alexandria.

He was a 1963 graduate of Williamsburg High School.

Larry retired in 2004 as a press operator from Fonda Group/Solo, Williamsburg with over 40 years of service.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting.

Friends will be received from 2 until the 3pm funeral service, Friday, January 11, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Chaplain Linda Banaszak officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Larry may be given to Royer United Methodist Church, 3218 Royer Rd., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
