Lawrence W. Ellis

Lawrence W. Ellis, 84, of New Enterprise, passed away on June 29, 2021 at home. He was born on September 21, 1936 in Bloomfield Township; son of the late Daniel and Mabel (Lydic) Ellis. On September 6, 1958 he was united in marriage to Mary J. (Boyd) Ellis; she preceded him in death on September 23, 1997. Lawrence was a graduate of Replogle High School and attended the German Seventh Day Baptist Church. He was employed by the Roaring Spring Blank Book Co. and was an avid hunter. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife Mary and 3 brothers. Surviving is daughter Charlotte Rausch of Kentucky; son Dale Ellis (Rhoda) of New Enterprise; grandchildren Nathaniel Rausch (Shay) and Sara Ellis (Clay); great-grandchildren Lukas and Grayson; as well as 3 sisters. Friends will be received on Monday, July 5, 2021 from 9:00-11:00AM. At 11:00AM a Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Andrew Camenga officiating. All of the above will be held at the German Seventh Day Baptist Church in Salemville. Interment will be in the Salemville Cemetery.
