Leanna “Ann” Kathryn (Imler) Hall, 82, of Chambersburg, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Menno Haven, Chambers Pointe Health Care Center. She was born on May 4, 1944 in New Enterprise; daughter of the late G. Ralph and Marie (Wallace) Imler. On June 26, 1965 in Winchester, Virginia, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Gary Edward Hall; he preceded her in death on February 9, 2025.
Ann was a Class of 1963 graduate of Central High School and member of the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren. She drove school bus for 20+ years, first for Smith’s in Roaring Spring and later, Carbaugh’s in Loysburg. Ann enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading her Bible, listening to music, and her church. Above all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her sisters and grandchildren.
Ann was preceded in death by her siblings: Bernard, Elwilda, Belva, D. Warren, J. Herbert, Sara, Daniel, Robert, Helen, Erma, Gerald, and Deloris. Surviving is daughter, Leslie Kagarise (Brian) of Waldorf, Maryland; son, Chris Hall (Mary Jo) of Chambersburg; son, Chad Hall (Amy) of Mechanicsburg; grandchildren, Celeste Kagarise (Brady), Alexis Kagarise, Cameron Hall, Kayla Hall, Ryan Hall, and Kathryn Hall; sisters, Esther Dibert and Sheila Moore (Thomas); and a brother, P. Richard Imler (Sherry).
Friends will be received on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren from 9:00AM until the start of the Funeral Service at 11:00AM; Pastor Paul Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery – Martinsburg.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Leanna’s name may be given to the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren or the Alzheimer’s Association (https://Alzheimer's Association ).
