LeRoy H. Garman, 65, of Martinsburg, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2025. He was born in Caernarvon Township, East Earl, PA a son of the late Noah S. and Emma (Hoover) Garman. He was married on November 18, 1982 to Janet (Martin) Garman, who survives along with three sons: Nathan Ray Garman and wife Annie (Brubaker), of Martinsburg, Joshua Ryan Garman and wife Julia (Brubaker), of Martinsburg, and Barry Lee Garman and wife Kaitlyn (Zimmerman), of Clyde, NY; nine grandchildren: Alissa, Geoffrey, Douglas, Angela, Tommy, Rebekah, Sophia, Mariah, and Nora; siblings: Allen Garman and wife Miriam H., of Martinsburg, Titus Garman and wife Lois M., of Martinsburg, Mary Horst and husband Irvin, of East Earl, and Erma Martin and husband Harold, of Greenwich, OH; sisters-in-law: Esther Garman of East Earl, Mary Ann Garman of Narvon, Suetta Garman of Martinsburg, and Emma Mae Newswanger of Wisconsin; and brothers-in-law: Franklin Hoover and Amos Martin, both of New Holland. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Esther Hoover, Martha Martin, and Ella Newswanger; brothers, Paul Garman, Edwin Garman, and Harry Garman; and a brother-in-law, Noah Newswanger.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at his late residence, 1820 Hickory Bottom Road, Martinsburg. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 beginning at 9:30 AM at the Old Order Mennonite Church, Cove Lane Road, Martinsburg; Irvin Zimmerman, Mervin Martin, Jere Martin, Stanley Horst, and Arthur Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be at the Old Order Mennonite Church Cemetery.
