Lloyd C. Zook, 82, rural Martinsburg, passed away late Sunday evening at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring.

He was born in Martinsburg, son of the late W. Paul and Myrtle E. (Weaver) Zook.  He married B. Esther Boyd on October 17, 1952 at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 63 years, a son Calvin L. (wife, Debbie) of rural Martinsburg; a grandson, Scott L. (wife, Wendy) of Rochester, NY; 2 great-grandchildren: Zachary and Addison; 3 brothers: Ralph E. of Martinsburg, Dale E. of Roaring Spring, Leon R. of Hollidaysburg; and 2 sisters: Esther M. Teeter of Pleasant Gap and Carolyn J. Zook of Rochester, NY.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Gerald L., Ray E. and Richard P.

Lloyd was a 1952 graduate of Morrison Cove High School, Martinsburg and was a member of Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg.

He retired in 1999 from Ritchey’s Dairy, Martinsburg after 40 years of service.  Lloyd also served as the manager of Morrisons Cove Park for 12 years and was the Boy Scout Master of Troop 58, Martinsburg.

Lloyd enjoyed mowing grass, taking care of his yard, golfing, bowling, hunting, and also sang bass in the gospel quartet “The Heirsmen”.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg, with Pastor Joel F. Nogle officiating.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Memorial Church of the Brethren, 210 N. Wall St., Martinsburg, PA  16662 or Morrisons Cove Memorial Park, 201 S. Walnut St., Martinsburg, PA 16662.
