Lois L. McFarland, 76, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday morning, August 26, 2021 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring.

She was born in Oreminea, rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Earnest C. and Sarah E. (Butts) Miller.  On August 5, 1972 she married Carl A. McFarland Sr. in Winchester, VA.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 49 years; four sons: Ernie B. Miller, Carl A. McFarland Jr., Allen E. McFarland and George M. McFarland; four daughters: Madeline MacFarland, Milly MacFarland, Dollie Musselman and Mollie McFarland; many grand and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny A. Delozier; and was the last of her immediate family of 17 children.

Lois attended school in Williamsburg and was a member of Mines United Methodist Church, rural Williamsburg.

She was primarily a homemaker who loved spending time with her family.  Lois also enjoyed picking blueberries, making homemade bread and playing cards with her grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 4-6pm, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a celebration of life service will follow at 6pm at the funeral home, Pastor Gordie Trimer officiating.

Memorial contributions in memory of Lois may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.

Due to rain and flooding conditions expected on Wednesday in Williamsburg, the visitation and celebration service are being moved to John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Allegheny Street, Martinsburg, PA 16662.
