Lorraine Blanche DeMartin, 88, of Williamsburg, passed away early Sunday morning, July 2, 2023 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Saxton, daughter of the late Milton H. and Gladys V. (Davis) Wyles. On April 25, 1953, she married Palmer J. “Needles” DeMartin in Williamsburg. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1995, after 42 years of marriage.

Surviving are three grandchildren: Bradley A. Hoover and Jill R. Hoover, both of Williamsburg, and Patricia K. Rodriguez, in Connecticut; 4 great-grandchildren: Nathan, Angelee, Levi and Lucas; three sisters: Betty Howard, Joyce Wyles and Mary Wyles; a brother, Billy Wyles; and numerous extended family members.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanne A. Hoover; three brothers; and a sister.

Lorraine was a 1952 graduate of Saxton Liberty High School and was of the Catholic faith.

She loved spending time with family, playing bingo and also enjoyed watching TV shows and completing puzzle books.

There will be no services held at this time.   Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home, Inc., Williamsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Lorraine may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
