Lynda R. (Specht) Dibert

Lynda R. Dibert, 65, of Ebensburg, formerly of Martinsburg, passed away on November 3, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Born on March 18, 1952 in Altoona, the daughter of the late Ray and Vivian (Graffius) Specht. On November 29, 1971 in North Carolina she married Wesley “John” Dibert who preceded her in death on November 5, 1992.  Lynda graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and was a member of the Reservoir Bible Church and the Cove Lioness Club. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, and reading, but most of all, the time she spent with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley and brother Ray E. Specht Jr. Surviving are daughters Nycole Richards (husband Ken) of Duncansville and Rebecca Dibert of Newry; sons Michael Dibert (wife Heather) of New Enterprise and Matthew Dibert (companion Michel) of Tyrone; sister Darlene McCall of Altoona; as well as 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, November 6th from 3:00PM-6:00PM. At 6:00PM a funeral service will take place with Chris Weidley officiating. All of the above will be at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury. Interment at Dry Hill Cemetery.
