Margaret Cecilia “Ceil” Cashdollar

Margaret Cecilia “Ceil” Cashdollar, 82, Buttercup Farm, rural New Enterprise formerly of Woodbine, MD, passed away Monday morning, April 16, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Oil City, PA, daughter of the late John and Mary (Scurry) Healy.  On May 21, 1955 she married Ronald L. Cashdollar in Oil City and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2018.

Surviving are two daughters: Gladys Lee Cashdollar of rural Bedford and Patty M. Unpingco (husband, Joey) of rural New Enterprise; two grandsons: Benjamin C. and Matthew C. Unpingco of Philadelphia; three sisters: Joan Winklbauer of Dallas, PA, Mary Mortimer (husband, John) and Kathleen Murray (husband, Richard) both of Oil City; and a brother-in-law, Bud Gibson of Arlington, TX.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen "Sassy" Cashdollar and five siblings: Robert Healy, Ann “Nan” Gibson, Rose Luke, John Healy and Rev. Father Patrick Healy.

Ceil was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry and also served on the church’s Ladies Guild.  She spent many days and hours volunteering at her church and at the St. Vincent de Paul Society Thrift Store in Altoona.

She was primarily a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandsons while they were growing up and taking care of her husband, Ron at Buttercup Farm.  Ceil also enjoyed visiting and vacationing with her brothers and sisters.

Friends will be received from 10am until 11am, Friday, April 20, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry, where a funeral mass will follow,  Father Allen Zeth Celebrant.  A graveside service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Airy, MD, Father Michael Ruane officiating.

The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Roaring Spring Community Library, 320 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, PA 16673 or St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Pantry, 1523 Adams Ave., Altoona, PA 16601.

Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
