Margaret Iola Edwards, 78, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with her Lord, Monday morning, March 24, 2025, at her home following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Miles C. and Helen Grace (Frederick) Clark.  On December 12, 1960 she married Harry L. Edwards in Winchester, VA.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Harry of 64 years; a daughter, Sharon K. Corle (Bryan) of Martinsburg; two sons: Harry J. Edwards (Penny) of Williamsburg and Brian K. Edwards of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren: James L. Corle (Shellyn), Jason B. Corle, Briana D. Dowey (Dylan) and Chandler Edwards; seven great-grandchildren; and four sisters: Pauline Servello, Lois Brindle, Blackie Brindle and Blondie Chamberlain.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Allison Brooke Edwards; two sisters: Mary Butler and Ethel McIntyre; and four brothers: Howard, Robert, Paul and Dan Clark.

Margaret attended school in Hollidaysburg and later earned her G.E.D.  She was a faithful member of Martinsburg Brethren in Christ Church, where she formerly taught Sunday school.

She was a loving homemaker, who also enjoyed taking walks, riding bikes, reading and going to auctions and yard sales.

Friends will be received from 5-7pm, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 7pm at the funeral home, Pastor Earl Herr officiating.  Private interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
