Margaret M. “Peg” (Neumyer) Walason

October 14, 1932 ~ January 8, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret M. “Peg” Walason of Williamsburg, at the age of 92.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Richard B. Walason.  Peg raised four children: Marie Sciulli (Giuseppe) of Pittsburgh, Shirley Saylor of Williamsburg, Judy Walason of Level Green and Jeffrey Walason (Angelique) of Alum Bank; 12 grandchildren: Anna Cassidy (Brian), Anthony Sciulli (Rosa), Veronica Boehm (Patrick), Julia Manfredi (Leon), Larry Saylor, Elaine Wilkins (Justin), Sarah Benson (Charlie), Vincent Baird, Emily Baird, Dana Hregdovic (Eddie), Tanner Walason and Macy Walason; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, James Neumyer.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Paul Saylor; and a brother, Owen Neumyer.

Peg was an amazing beautiful woman.  She loved shopping and passed on her thrifty sense of style to everyone in her family.  Peg was the queen of the crock-pot, preparing numerous delicious meals for family and all that were hungry.

Friends will be received from 2-5pm, Sunday, January 12, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, and from 10-11am, Monday, January 13, 2025, at the funeral home where a funeral of Christian burial service will begin at 11am, Pastor C. Matthew Roberts officiating. Interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
