Marilyn K. Dolbin, 71, Roaring Spring, passed away Monday evening, March 11, 2019, at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Kenneth W. and Elsie Fern (Longenecker) Helsel.

Surviving are a daughter, Roberta “Bobbi” J. Dolbin of Altoona; two granddaughters: Jade (Alex) Corbin of Hollidaysburg and Kaitlyn (Nicole) Morrison of Altoona; two great-granddaughters: Aneira Belladonna and Eris Rayne Corbin; a great grandson, Parker Nathaniel Morrison; a sister, Karen (Greg) Norris of Clearfield; a nephew, Joshua (Jackie) Norris; two great-nieces: Sidney and Madison Norris; and her former husband, Donald W. Dolbin of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth E. in 1978.

Marilyn was a 1965 graduate of Central High School, Martinsburg and a 1969 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, State College.  She retired as a medical technician in 2013 from Tyrone Regional Health System with six years of service, and was employed in the health care industry in Blair County for 45 years.

She was a member of Martinsburg Memorial Church of the Brethren and the Roaring Spring Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.  Marilyn loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Friends will be received from 11:30am until the 1pm memorial service, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, Pastor Chris Garretson officiating.  Private inurnment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.

Memorial contributions in memory of Marilyn can be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children, c/o donate.lovetotherescue.org.
