Marissa Ry-Lee Shultz

Marissa Ry-Lee Shultz 17, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2025 as a result of a tragic accident.  She was born the daughter of Nikkia Beck and Creig Shultz.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers Mason Shultz, Xander Pounds, Tyler Shultz, and Trenton Frye; grandparents Ricky Beck, Loretta Beck, Bob Shultz, and great-grandmother Rachel Strayer; uncles Joshua Beck and Cody Shultz, and cousins Trenton Shultz and Emily Shutlz.  She resided with her aunt Brittany Beck and cousins Sedrick Beck, Kohn Beck, and Oliver Beck.

Marissa was preceded in death by her grandmother Deanna L. Savino, Bertha Shultz, great-uncle Dink Strayer, great-grandmother Jane Beck, and her boyfriend Jayson Diehl.

Marissa was very loved by all that knew her, and was a senior at Altoona High School this year.  She loved the outdoors, traveling, fishing, old cars, and four-wheeling.  Marissa also loved animals, and her cat Maverick.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the New Life Alliance Church, 2879 Everett Road, East Freedom, where a memorial service will begin at 11:00 am, with Pastor Ed Jelliff officiating.  Arrangements by the Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Martinsburg.
