Marjorie A. (Hoffner) Speacht, 69, of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday evening, September 19, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Richard P. and Marjorie A. (Reed) Hoffner.  On August 25, 1979 she married Barry G. Speacht at the Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Barry of 45 years; two daughters: Ashley M. Speacht and Amy M. Speacht both of Williamsburg; a daughter-in-law, Heather L. Holencik (Adam) of rural Williamsburg; three grandchildren: Owen B. Dively, Braylyn E. Speacht and Benjamin M. Holencik; two sisters: Frances E. Hoffner of Mechanicsburg and Rose M. Lynn of Williamsburg; two brothers: Charles V. Hoffner of Chicopee, MA and Steven M. Hoffner of Williamsburg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Cody G. Speacht, who passed away on May 12, 2014.

Marge was a 1973 graduate of Williamsburg High School.  She was employed for many years at a youth group home in Altoona and also worked with the custodial staff at the Williamsburg Elementary School for over 20 years.

She was a longtime, faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, where she served on the Altar Guild.

Marge loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and also attending Blue Pirate basketball games for her daughter and granddaughter.  She also enjoyed playing skills machines, traveling and taking motorcycle rides with her husband, Barry.

Friends will be received from 5:30 until 8pm, Monday, September 23, 2024 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and from 10 until 11am, Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at the Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 11am, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating.  Interment will be held at the Williamsburg Lutheran Cemetery.
