Marjorie I. Bussard

Marjorie I. Bussard, 96, a resident of Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg for the past 2 years formerly of Williamsburg passed away Sunday morning at the Village.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Orville K. and Clara I. (Parks) Perrin. On December 25, 1942, she married Joseph A. Bussard II in Cumberland, MD. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1986
Surviving are 2 sons: Joseph A. III (Amy) of Hollidaysburg and Jan R. (Ruby) of Williamsburg; a daughter, Susan A. Liebal (Richard Sr.) of Williamsburg; 3 grandchildren: Lori Merritts (Michael) and Charles Liebal (Jill) both of Williamsburg, Richard Liebal Jr. (Chrisy) of Roaring Spring; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great-great –grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren: Neil Miller, Theresa Kifer, Jennifer James and Beth Jukes; 7 step-great grandchildren; 5 step great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Martha M. Cadle of the Presbyterian Village.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Harry, John and Robert; and 2 sisters: Mary Esther Bowser and Virginia Reed.
Marjorie was a member Williamsburg Church of the Brethren and for many years was employed as a telephone operator for United Telephone.
She loved spending time with her grandkids and her sister, Martha and also enjoyed reading, gardening, playing cards, and walking on the Lower Trail.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg and also from 1 until the 3pm funeral service, Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the funeral home, Mr. David Cadle officiating. Private interment will be held at Shellytown-Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, 270 Walker Dr., STE 201B, State College, PA 16801.
