Marlene L. Allison

Marlene L. Allison, 85, of Martinsburg, passed away Tuesday morning, February 18, 2025 at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg.
She was born in Duncansville, daughter of the late Harry T. and Maxine L. (Keck) Kelley. On September 8, 1962 she married Richard I. “Putt Putt” Allison at the Carson Valley Church, Duncansville and he preceded her in death on November 25, 2021 following 59 years of marriage.
Surviving are four daughters: Sarah J. Murray (Fred) of York Springs, Janet E. Eastep (David) of Altoona, Kimberly J. Smith of Martinsburg and Karla S. Breaux (Earl) of Johnstown; a son Kelley E. Allison of York County; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Donald, Timothy and Darryl Kelley; and two sisters: Sharon McDermitt and Nancy Yeckley.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Ralph, Fred and Robert Kelley.
Marlene was a 1957 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a member of the Martinsburg Church of God. She retired as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant from The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, after 17 years of service.
She loved spending time with family and friends. Marlene also enjoyed crocheting, reading, telephone calls with a cup of coffee and babysitting for many years.
Friends will be received from 11am until 1pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg, where a funeral service will begin at 1pm, Pastor Daniel Murray officiating.
