Martha M. Cadle, 102, resident of The Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg formerly of Williamsburg went home to be with her Lord, Saturday afternoon at the Village.
She was born in Cottage, Huntingdon County, daughter of the late Orville K. and Clara I. (Parks) Perrin. On September 11, 1948 she married David D. Cadle at the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy J. Stauffer of Bellefonte; 2 sons: Richard E. Norris Sr. and David D. Cadle Jr. both of Williamsburg; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family of 7 children, being preceded in death by 3 sisters: Mary Esther Bowser, Virginia Reed and Marjorie I. Bussard; and 3 brothers: Harry, John and Robert Perrin.
Martha was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and a member of the former Williamsburg Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was longtime member of the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren and the Crusader Sunday School Class.
Martha loved spending time with her family and also enjoyed crocheting and reading.
She was known to many family and friends as Gaga, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, from these jobs she never retired.
Friends will be received from 6-8pm, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the funeral home, Pastor Ed Jelliff and Mr. David Cadle Jr. officiating. Private interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
