Mary Ann Ott, 78, of Loysburg, went to be in her heavenly home on October 20, 2019. She was born on December 8, 1940 in New Enterprise; daughter of the late Richard Harvey and Ura May (Mountain) Clapper. On July 18, 1964 at the Koontz Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to Roy E. Ott. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2000. Mary was a graduate of the Northern Bedford Class of 1958. She was a member of the Koontz Church of the Brethren, but attended Waterside Church of the Brethren. Mary worked at New Enterprise Stone & Lime as a Payroll Administrator until her retirement. After retirement she drove school van for Carbaugh Bussing. Mary was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. She enjoyed camping, traveling, long talks with her grandson, and time spent with her fur-kids Baby and Benji. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy E.; infant children Brenda Ann and Brian Earl; brothers Melvin and W. Homer; and sisters Thelma and Elda. Surviving are daughter Lisa Markle and husband Gerald of Roaring Spring as well as grandson Jared. Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury and Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 10:00-11:00AM at the Waterside Church of the Brethren. At 11:00, Thursday a Funeral Service will take place with Pastor Eric Poteat and Pastor Mike Benner officiating. Interment will be in Dry Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Mary’s name can be made to the Waterside Church of the Brethren or the Bedford County Humane Society.
