Mary Beth (Fluke) Baker

Mary Beth (Fluke) Baker, 85, of Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center - Roaring Spring. She was born on February 2, 1941 in Huntingdon; daughter of the late Vernon James and Margaret Virginia (Weaver) Fluke. On August 10, 1960 in Winchester Virginia, she was united in marriage to Richard E. Baker; spending 62 years together until his death on October 28, 2022.

Beth was a graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School and attended the Woodbury Church of the Brethren. She was employed as a Postal Office worker for many years. Beth enjoyed traveling, camping, trips to Florida, sewing, quilting, and her animals.

Surviving are son, Rick Baker and wife Sherri; son, Randy Baker and wife Cindy; grandchildren: Justin Baker, Jared Baker, Chase Baker, Paige Boone (Will), and Jordyn Soderholm; great-grandchildren: Emerie, Ella, Henry, and Claire; and sister, Elaine Hornauer (Jerry).

At request of the deceased, funeral services will be held privately. Interment will be in the New Enterprise Cemetery.
