Marylou "Gee" (Longenecker) Ebersole

MaryLou “Gee” Ebersole, 76, of New Enterprise, passed away on October 14, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 19, 1942 in Stonerstown, daughter of the late John Harry and Mary Amanda (Guyer) Longenecker. On August 28, 1965 she married Richard Dale Ebersole who survives. Together they celebrated 53 years of marriage. MaryLou was a graduate of Northern Bedford High School and enjoyed gardening, canning, and knitting. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by brothers Harry Guyer Longenecker and Donald Glenn Longenecker; and sisters Naomi Lavina Edwards, Elsie Fern Helsel, and Alameda LaRoue Romaine. Surviving are her husband Richard; son Brent Dale Ebersole (Sonja Elaine Metz) of New Enterprise; grandchildren Brendan Dale Ebersole (Cassandra Chambers), Braden Dale Ebersole, and Brittany Elaine Ebersole; sister-in-law’s Thelma J. Longenecker and Peggy Lou Longenecker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 1:30PM at the Weaver Funeral Home in Woodbury.  John Massie will be officiating. Interment will be at Salemville Cemetery.
