Mason Andrew Weidig

Mason Andrew Weidig, 30, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday evening in Bellwood following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born in Altoona, son of Scott A. and Christine G. (Kensinger) Weidig.
Surviving are his parents of Williamsburg; a brother, Garrett A. Weidig of Williamsburg; grandparents: Garry and Mary Kensinger of rural Williamsburg and John Hileman of Williamsburg; aunts and uncle: Lori Harclerode (Don), Tammy Detwiler (Tony), Sherry Metzker (James McIntyre), Julia Hileman (Jeff), Clyde Weidig and Kathie Weidig (wife of the late Joseph Weidig Jr.); cousins: Kyle Detwiler (Amanda), Wade Harclerode (Loran), Jordan Hileman, Kendall Gaillard, Kody Detwiler (Amber), Kurt Detwiler (Michaela), Hunter Metzker, Keller Metzker, Kamden Detwiler, R.J. McIntyre, Jamison Warren, Kaiden Detwiler, Isabella Harclerode, Gunner Detwiler and Oakley Gaillard; close friends: Nathaniel Leech (Lexi), James “Jimbo” Kulwicki, Jeff Mingle, Kaiden Landrum and Gavin Amick; and pet dog, Ruby Lou.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph E. Weidig and Dorothy E. Weidig-Hileman; and a cousin, Angela Detwiler.
Mason was a 2012 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He was employed for 5 years with INX (International Ink Company), where his office was located inside the Cenveo Plant located in Williamsburg.
He loved spending time with his family and friends, riding his MT 10 and sharing his travels with his followers on TikTok, where his username was slow_mt10. Mason also enjoyed fishing at Bob Hearn’s Pond, hunting, lifting weights and putting a smile on people’s faces.
Friends will be received from 2-8pm, Friday, August 2, 2024, at The First Methodist Church of Williamsburg, 431 W. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693. Family and friends are also invited to a celebration of life gathering to begin at 12 noon and last well into the evening on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at The Kensinger Home, 310 Poverty Hollow Road, Williamsburg, PA 16693. There will be lots of food, stories and memories shared about Mason's life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mason may be given to The First Methodist Church of Williamsburg, 431 W. Second St., Williamsburg, PA 16693 or Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
