Maxienta K. Brown, 95, Baltimore, MD formerly of Williamsburg passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 after a brief illness.
She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Brown.
Surviving are 2 nephews: Stanley and Leon Shaffer and many other nieces and nephews; a friend and caregiver, Elizabeth Byers of Baltimore, MD with whom she resided for many years.
She was preceded in death by 6 siblings: Coletta Retzloff, Olivett Retzloff, Cletus Brown, Arlie Brown, Claude Brown and Francis Shaffer.
Maxienta retired from the Social Service Administration with 38 years of service and was a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Williamsburg. She was very loving and devoted to her extended family and pet dogs.
Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Williamsburg at the convenience of the family.
