Meriam “Mim” G. Corle, 79, of New Paris, passed away on December 21, 2022 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on March 8, 1943 in Roaring Spring; daughter of the late Guy and Thelma (Koontz) Hall. On August 31, 1968 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to Theodore “Ted” Corle.
Mim graduated from the Altoona School of Commerce, landing her a secretary job at the Bedford Springs Hotel. She later retired from the Intake Department at the Bedford County Assistance Office. Mim grew up on the family farm and always had a love for animals. In her younger years, she was involved with 4-H and went on many trail rides. Mim attended the Waterside Church of the Brethren.
Surviving is her husband, Ted; sister, Jeannette Decker and husband Charles of Everett; sister, Carla States and husband Dave of Woodbury; brother, Galen Hall of York Springs; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and their families. Mim will be greatly missed by her horse, cat, and special dog, Lizzy.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM funeral service at the Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury. Pastor Eric Poteat and Pastor Mike Benner will be officiating. Interment will be at Dry Hill Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions in Meriam’s name can be made to the Bedford County Humane Society (182 Bohn Rd. Bedford, PA 15522).
