Merry R. Ritchey, 74, of Everett, formerly of Martinsburg and Roaring Spring, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Pennknoll Village - Everett. She was born on September 14, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio; daughter of the late Robert Strawn and Elsie (Kauffmann) Adams.
Merry was employed at Appleton Papers for 30 plus years. She loved her grandchildren and the time she spent with them. Merry enjoyed QVC shopping, crossword puzzles, coloring, taking pictures, and was a phenomenal cook.
Merry was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Naspinsky. Surviving is daughter, Joy Ambrose (David) of Bedford; daughter, Elaine Diehl (Glenn) of Riddlesburg; son, Jason Ritchey of State College; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters: Betty Strawn of Verona, PA and Kathy Showman of Greensburg, PA.
At request of the deceased, no services will be held.
Memorial Contributions in Merry’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
