Michael D. Drass, 88, Williamsburg, passed away Friday morning, July 30, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Frankstown Township, son of John R. and Lillian E. (Mellott) Drass.  He married Janet L. Butcher and she preceded him in death on Aug. 21, 2011.

Surviving are a daughter, Sharon L. McIntosh; a grandson: Aaron McIntosh; two great-grandchildren: Hailee and Brayden; two sisters: Josephine Poplin and Eillen Hmel; and a brother, Charles Drass.

Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie L. Branter; four brothers: Richard, William, Robert, and John Drass; and a sister, Marian E. Drass.

He retired as an IBEW Lineman where he worked for various power companies through the years.

Mike loved spending time in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed feeding and watching all the wildlife around his home and working in his large garden. However, Mike’s greatest love was spending time with his family at family picnics.

At the request of the deceased there will be no services. Private interment will be held at New Canoe Creek Cemetery, rural Hollidaysburg.
