Mildred E. (Mock) Russell, 95, Cherrytown, James Creek, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Martinsburg.

Born Oct. 26, 1927, in East Sharpsburg, Blair County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Tina (Klotz) Mock. She was united in marriage to Fred T. Russell, June 18, 1948. He preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1961.

Millie is survived by two daughters, Judy (Russell) Dodson and husband, Bill, Martinsburg, and Janet (Russell) Weikert and husband, Jim, Huntingdon; a daughter-in-law, Kaye (Glass) Russell, Martinsburg; seven grandchildren, Becky (Weikert) Bard and husband, Jim, Huntingdon, R.R., Travis Russell and wife, Angie, Roaring Spring; Traci (Russell) Totillo and husband, Brian, Martinsburg; Jimmy Weikert and wife, Heather, Hesston, R.R., Dr. Andy Weikert, Roaring Spring; Sheri (Dodson) Daley and husband, Dayson, Greencastle, and Matt Weikert and wife, Lindsey, Huntingdon, R.R.; and 11 great-grandchildren, Russell, Elliott and Brian Bard, Abe, Charli and Graci Russell, Adalyn Weikert, Dean Hall, Jolene and Johanna Daley and Luke Weikert.

She is also survived by a brother, Ken Mock and wife, Tina, Roaring Spring.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Russell, who passed away Nov. 15, 2017, and siblings Betty Berkey, Jude Mock, Jack Mock, Marian Burket and Ruth Thompson.

Millie was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Cherrytown.

A homemaker for most of her life, Millie was most proud of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
