Natalia Marie “Natty Bug” LaPenna, 23 months, Altoona and Williamsburg, gained her angel wings, Wednesday at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Roaring Spring daughter of Alex Matthew and Caitlyn Nicole (Renzi) LaPenna.
Surviving are her parents of Altoona; a brother, Carter Matthew LaPenna; a sister, Sophia Raine LaPenna; grandparents: Tina Brantner and Scott Bush of Williamsburg, Michael and Michelle LaPenna of Duncansville and Michael Renzi of Williamsburg; great-grandparents: Emmamarie Patterson and Martha Casselberry both of Williamsburg, Linda and Wayne Lee of Panama City, FL, Sally DeHart of Lynchburg, VA, Bill Brainard of Terre Haute, IN; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by 2 great-grandfathers: Donald Patterson and Albert DeHart.
Natty Bug loved to dance while watching Elmo and Madagascar. She also enjoyed eating goldfish crackers, banana popsicles and feeding the ducks and fish with her family.
A private memorial service will be held at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Williamsburg, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. A public celebration of life service will be held from 2-6pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Williamsburg Farm Show Building.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
