Nettie M. Mooney

     Nettie M. Mooney, 76, of Hollidaysburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior, and walk the street of gold on Friday, January 16, 2026 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born in Altoona a daughter of the late Elvin and Icy Regina (Longenecker) Rightenour. She is survived by two children: Bryan Rightenour and Kimberly Theys, both of Hollidaysburg; six grandchildren: Alesha Billie, Tristen and Nicholas Rightenour, and Josiah, Daniel, and Adele Theys; four great-grandchildren: Emma, Anna, Owen, and Wyatt; four siblings: Willis Rightenour and wife Rheda, of Claysburg, Fern Dick widow of James, of Duncansville, Robert Rightenour, of Mt. Union, and George Rightenour and wife Patty, of Altoona; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven siblings: Sarah Redman, Eleanor Lawrence, and Barry, Glenn, Merle, James, and John Rightenour.

     Nettie was a waitress for many local restaurants and was also a housekeeper. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading, and working on puzzles. Nettie will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her unique name, and her love of the Lord. She adored her family and will be greatly missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.

     Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10:00 am until the noon funeral service at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Woodbury. Interment at Diehl’s Crossroads Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Nettie’s name to the American Red Cross.
