Norma J. (Claycomb) Imler, 93, of Martinsburg, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away on September 11, 2025 at Homewood Living Martinsburg. She was born on September 28, 1931 in New Enterprise RD; daughter of the late Thomas I. and Abi B. (Hitechew) Claycomb. On July 2, 1949 at the New Enterprise Church of the Brethren, she was united in marriage to Ross E. Imler; he preceded her in death on September 3, 1984.
Norma was a Replogle High School Class of 1949 graduate and member of the Waterside Church of the Brethren. She was a collector and seller of antiques.
Many wonderful words can be written about Norma and her accomplishments, but Norma would tell you, her greatest joy in life came from sharing the love of JESUS and teaching Sunday School to the youth. Her love for family and friends was unconditional.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Ross; brothers, Stanley Claycomb, Eugene (Tom) Claycomb, Robert Claycomb, and Clyde Claycomb; and sisters, Dorothy Reighard and Martha Bush. Surviving is sister, Ida Hay of Martinsburg; sister, Anna Mary Clapper of Martinsburg; special friends, Paul, Janet, and Nancy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM Funeral Service at the Fink & Stone Funeral Home in Woodbury; Pastor Paul Snyder officiating. Interment will be in Holsinger Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Norma’s name may be made to the Homewood Living Martinsburg Benevolent Fund.
