Patricia A. Johnson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister, Patricia A. Johnson, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 65. Patty, as she was fondly known, was born on August 16, 1959 in Bedford, the daughter of James and Helen (Lesh) Johnson. She grew up in New Enterprise alongside her siblings, Paul and Kevin, and graduated from Northern Bedford County High School in 1977.

Patty was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Her warm personality, infectious smile, and generous heart made her an instant favorite among all who knew her. She had a passion for bingo, puzzle books, spending time with her family and friends, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Despite facing many challenges in life, Patty remained resilient and persevered through it all. She was a fighter until the end and her unwavering faith in God was an inspiration to us all.

Patty is survived by her mother, Helen; brothers Paul Johnson (Peggy) and Kevin Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. We will miss her dearly, but take comfort in the fact that she is now in a better place, free from pain and suffering. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the 12:00 PM Funeral Service at the Everett Grace Brethren Church; Pastor Melvin VanOrman officiating. Interment will be in the New Enterprise Cemetery.
