Patricia “Pattie” Diana Riley-Stowell, 58, of Bellwood has departed this life and entered eternal rest after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Pattie was born in Huntingdon, daughter of the late Donald G. Wible and Elizabeth (Horne) Wible-James.  On June 19, 2010 she married Andrew J. Stowell a U.S. Navy veteran.

Surviving are her husband of Bellwood; ex husband, Stanley Riley of McVeytown a son, Noah Yoder of Karthaus, who on April 15, 2018 was reunited with her, after Pattie gave him up for adoption when she was 18 years old; two daughters: Heather (Daniel) Smith of Howard and Danielle “Dani” Riley of Bellwood; 11 grandchildren: Annadora, Joseph, Becky, Noah Jr., Andy Ray, Laura and Molly Yoder, Kendall and Paisley Smith and Nathaniel and Aerilyn Riley; and a brother, Brian (Sonya) Wible of Smithmill.

She was a 1979 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and attended the Bradford Business College in Pittsburgh.  Pattie had various jobs throughout her life and worked until she was unable because of her health.

Pattie served in various positions within the American Legion Auxiliary, in which she was very passionate.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and was always talking about them.  Pattie also enjoyed watching detective shows, NASCAR races, Pittsburgh Steelers games and the Food Network.

She chose to have her body donated to science and her family fulfilled that wish by donating her to DonorCure, Delray Beach, FL.

A memorial celebration will be held at noon, Monday, January 20, 2020 with a time of fellowship to follow at Grace Fellowship Church, Leamersville Campus Activity Center, Pastor Timothy Guyer officiating.  Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
