Patricia Joyce (Ashcom) Winston

Patricia Joyce Winston, 85, of Martinsburg, passed away on January 16, 2026 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center – Roaring Spring. She was born on November 10, 1940 in Johnstown; daughter of the late Robert Frank and Edna (Mahan) Ashcom. On May 17, 1969 in Johnstown, she was united in marriage to Robert Francis Winston, who survives.

Patricia was a housekeeper for Homewood at Martinsburg for 25 plus years. She enjoyed reading, journaling, scrapbooking, jewelry making, ceramic painting, and hiking in her earlier years.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ashcom and a sister, Jacquelyn Crum. Surviving is her husband, Robert; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Winston of Martinsburg; and grand-fur-kids, Tortellini and Birch.

Friends will be received on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 10:00AM until the 11:00AM Celebration of Life Service at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Martinsburg; Pastor Traci Marriott officiating.

Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery – Martinsburg.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions in Patricia’s name may be made to the Martinsburg Community Library (201 S. Walnut St. Martinsburg, PA 16662) or the Blair County Humane Society (1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602).
