Paul E. Tipton, 82, rural Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday morning, March 20, 2019 at AristaCare at Huntingdon Park.

He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late G. Elvin and N. Margaret (Kensinger) Tipton.

Surviving are three sisters: Emily Jane Exline of rural Martinsburg, Kay I. Vandrew of San Diego, CA and Linda J. Stewart of rural Martinsburg; and two brothers: Dennis G. Tipton of rural Roaring Spring and Dale R. Tipton of Saxton.

Paul attended Morrisons Cove High School, Martinsburg and was a member of Woodbury Church of the Brethren.

He retired from Cove Shoe Factory, Martinsburg, where he worked as a shoe laster and also in the maintenance department, with a total of 45 years of service.  Paul enjoyed mowing grass and also driving local Mennonite friends and families to various destinations.

Friends will be received from 10:30am until the noon funeral service, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Woodbury Church of the Brethren, Pastor David Ulm officiating.  Private interment will be held at Kensinger Cemetery, rural Martinsburg.
